Embraer EMB170 BA Cityflyer G-LCYF taking off from City Airport at 15:30 on 7th December 2014 probably on the Belfast flight. This was taken from the Steve Redgrave Bridge at the eastern side of the airport and the bridge is a perfect vantage point for the eastern end of the runway and the taxiway. On this occasion the flights were taking off to the west but as the plane leaves the runway you can clearly see Canary Wharf in the background. It is not as steady as I would have liked as it was a really windy afternoon and I had to use the railing of the bridge as a support.
