On Sunday 19th January 2020 during a walk in London I came across this crane in Fenchurch Street.

I am always a big fan of large civil engineering although it was one of those sunny days where it was bitterly cold so I didn’t hang around for too long.

I couldn’t get the whole crane from floor to the top of the jib in one shot so here is the other end.

And another picture showing some of the mechanism.

And if one crane wasn’t enough, here is a picture of the second smaller crane that was also being used on site and at this point it was getting ready to hoist a cage of things upwards.
One problem with Fenchurch Street is that during the day because of the height of almost all the buildings it is usually in shadow and not the greatest place to take pictures from.
