Looking through some old folders on my PC I found some old DLR photos taken on the 26th of February 2006. A few changes have happened on the Docklands Light Railway network in London since then, the first and probably the biggest was the building of a new branch that took over the alignment of the old Stratford to North Woolwich section of the North London line that now runs between Canning town station in the south and Stratford International in the north. This also means that there are now two completely separate DLR platforms at Canning town, one at ground level and one elevated.

The other thing missing from the photograph above is the Emirates Airline cable car that runs from near Royal Victoria station across the river to North Greenwich station and the O2 Arena.

Also discovered was a picture of some B2K stock (No.16) in the earlier blue and red livery in the un-refurbished Tower Gateway station. The changed station opened 2 March 2009 with longer platforms to allow 3 car trains to operate and also some changes to make getting in and out of the trains and station easier.
